This research aims to understand the meaning of solvency and its functions in maintaining financial stability and operations of financial institutions and Sharia companies. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods, this research analyzes data obtained through a study of related literature. The research results show that solvency plays an important role in managing risk, maintaining compliance with Sharia principles, and ensuring the sustainability of Sharia institutions and companies in facing financial challenges. Solvency also functions as an instrument to increase public trust and attract investors, especially because Sharia institutions must comply with principles such as the prohibition of usury, Gharar, and Maysir. However, there are several challenges in implementing solvency, especially in terms of limited Sharia financial instruments that can be used to manage risk effectively. This research concludes that solvency is a crucial element that has a direct impact on the performance and sustainability of financial institutions and Sharia companies, so innovation is needed in Sharia financial instruments and supporting regulations.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tawazun, Jurnal Ekonomi Syariahhttps://jurnal.staiskutim.ac.id/index.php/at-tawazun/article/view/518MOTIF PENGUSAHA MUSLIM BISNIS KULINER PERSPEKTIF ALFRED SCHUTZ; STUDI KASUS LUBNA CAKE & CAFE2024-10-11T05:29:05+00:00Sismanto Sismantosirilwafa@gmail.comSiswanto Siswantosiswanto@pbs.uin-malang.ac.idAhmad Djalaluddindjalaludin@akuntansi.uin-malang.ac.idSri Andrianisriandriani@akuntansi.uin-malang.ac.idAbdullah Rikzaabdullahrikza@staf.unipdu.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the motives of Muslim entrepreneurs in implementing mujāhadah (spiritual struggle) in their culinary business practices, using Alfred Schutz's phenomenological perspective. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, focusing on Lubna Cake & Cafe in East Kutai. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis to explore the "because of" and "in order to" motives that influence business decisions. The findings reveal that past experiences, family background, and spiritual beliefs shape the “because of motives” that affect business practices, such as work ethic and dedication in managing the business. Meanwhile, the "in order to motives" reflect long-term aspirations, such as business expansion, improving employee welfare, and making positive social contributions to the surrounding community. This study provides theoretical contributions to understanding the integration of Islamic values in business and offers practical references for Muslim entrepreneurs seeking to combine spiritual values with sustainable business success. The findings also serve as a guide for researchers and practitioners to further explore the application of Islamic values in broader business contexts.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tawazun, Jurnal Ekonomi Syariahhttps://jurnal.staiskutim.ac.id/index.php/at-tawazun/article/view/522MANAJEMEN INOVASI PENGELOLAAN DANA HAJI DAN OPTIMALISASI INVESTASI EMAS2024-10-23T06:01:22+00:00Sri Andrianisriandriani@akuntansi.uin-malang.ac.idSismanto Sismantosirilwafa@gmail.comSiswanto Siswantosiswanto@pbs.uin-malang.ac.idAhmad Djalaluddindjalaludin@akuntansi.uin-malang.ac.idAbdullah Rikzaabdullahrikza@staf.unipdu.ac.id
Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam, holds great importance and draws immense interest from Indonesian Muslims. Despite limited quotas, the number of prospective pilgrims continues to rise annually, posing challenges in managing hajj funds overseen by the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH). This study explores innovative approaches to hajj fund management, focusing on optimizing investments, particularly in gold, a stable and secure Islamic financial instrument. The study analyzes literature and regulations on hajj financial management using a qualitative library research method. The findings indicate that BPKH’s fund management, based on Islamic principles, has improved significantly. Diversification through sukuk, cash waqf, and gold has helped secure hajj funds, though gold price volatility remains a challenge. Gold investments provide a hedge against inflation and market volatility, especially during economic crises. The study highlights the importance of innovative investment strategies to enhance the productivity and sustainability of hajj funds, with a recommendation for further portfolio diversification to maximize economic benefits for Indonesia’s Muslim population.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tawazun, Jurnal Ekonomi Syariahhttps://jurnal.staiskutim.ac.id/index.php/at-tawazun/article/view/536PERUBAHAN TINGKAT PENAWARAN BARANG SEMBAKO PADA TAHUN 2023 DI TOKO IJO SANGATTA2024-11-05T05:48:02+00:00Diva Apriliadivaavrilia37@gmail.comMaulidiah Anjanianjanimaulidiah@gmail.comMaya Nuraulianurauliamaya1@gmail.comSyafira Afrianishafirafhiran@gmail.comZulkadrin Zulkadrinzullkadrin94@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the factors that cause fluctuations in the supply of basic necessities at Toko Ijo, Sangatta, East Kalimantan, throughout 2023. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, which aims to comprehensively examine changes in the level of supply of basic necessities. Research data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation to explore information about goods ordering policies, sales strategies, and challenges faced in stock management. The results of the study show that fluctuations in the supply of basic necessities at Toko Ijo are influenced by internal and external factors. External factors include the harvest season, seasonal demand during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, as well as the availability of supply from distributors. Meanwhile, internal factors include stock management and store operating costs. Data analysis shows that there is a fluctuating trend in the supply of goods, especially rice, throughout the year. The decline in supply occurred in the first quarter due to the famine season, while the increase occurred in the second quarter in line with the harvest season and a surge in demand ahead of Ramadan. The third quarter showed a decline again, while the fourth quarter tended to be stable and increased ahead of the year-end holidays.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tawazun, Jurnal Ekonomi Syariahhttps://jurnal.staiskutim.ac.id/index.php/at-tawazun/article/view/565ANALISIS TANTANGAN DAN KONTRIBUSI PASAR MODAL SYARIAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI INDONESIA2024-11-21T02:42:14+00:00Ana Siti Parida Dwi Yuliantikaantikacantikk602@gmail.comJelita JelitaJelitansrnm28@gmail.comRizqy Ramadhani dg. The Islamic capital market is increasingly in demand by Muslim investors because of its adherence to sharia principles, which also increases market stability and liquidity. The method used in this study is library research which is carried out by collecting information and data through various sources available in the library. both related to laws, fatwas, books, reports, and relevant scientific publications. The findings of the study show that the Islamic capital market in Indonesia has made a major contribution to economic growth, by recording an increase in market capitalization, the number of sharia stocks, sharia bonds (sukuk), and sharia mutual funds. This development reflects investor confidence and the attractiveness of the Islamic capital market as an alternative investment that is in line with Islamic principles. In addition, the Islamic capital market also plays a role in funding the real sector, including MSMEs, through the Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) scheme, which further strengthens its contribution to the Indonesian economy.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tawazun, Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah
